 CECP LAUNCHES ASSESSMENT WEB PAGE

The Center for Effective Collaboration and Practice launched a new web page to explain the ins and outs of conducting functional behavioral assessments, a standardized method of identifying the social, affective, cognitive and environmental factors associated a student's behavior. The new web page provides information on functional behavioral assessment strategies, how assessments contribute to the development of behavioral intervention plans and what a school district's responsibility is under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.8
