For people looking to brush up on their American Sign Language Skills, those learning it for the first time or anyone looking for an online dictionary of signs to answer a specific communications need, Deaf World Web has created a new online resource. Handspeak.com, a site devoted entirely to the many signs that make up modern American Sign Language, uses computer animation to demonstrate the hand movements for 2,800 different common, and not so common, words.8
