 URBAN SCHOOL GROUP HOLDS ONLINE INCLUSION SEMINAR

The National Institute for Urban School Improvement is conducting a two-week online seminar on inclusive education June 5 through 16 at www.edc.org/urban/forums.htm. "Inclusive Approaches to Schooling" will provide online discussions facilitated by National Institute Co-Director Dr. Dianne Ferguson. The meeting will address the Institute's new guidebook, "Improving Education -- The Promise of Inclusive Schooling," the challenges of making classrooms inclusive and projects others are planning and implementing in their schools. The institute incorporates the work of Education Development Center, Inc.'s Center for Marketing, Networking, and Utilization in Newton, Mass., the University of Oregon's Center for Research Synthesis and Product Development and the University of Colorado's Center for Program Improvement.8
