Web-based educational products stores SmarterKids.com and Scholastic.com each added new guidance features for parents of children with special needs. Smarterkids.com added a Special Needs Center to help people choose products for children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, autism, blindness and visual impairments, deafness and hearing impairements, developmental delay, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. Scholastic's new "Meet Dr. Perry" section offers information from child psychiatrist and child development expert Dr. Bruce D. Perry.8
